Director of Racquets at the Corpus Christi Athletic Club

We’re proud to spotlight professionals who elevate the racquets industry through their dedication to growth and leadership…

Matthew Westmoreland oversees tennis, pickleball, racquetball and basketball programming at Corpus Christi Athletic Club. Originally from Honolulu, Hawai‘i, Matthew played NCAA Division I tennis at Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi, earning a degree in Kinesiology in 2015 and an MBA in 2023.

In 2025 alone, Matthew has spearheaded the ultimate pickleball expansion. The opening of a state-of-the-art 20,000 sq. ft. indoor pickleball facility featuring 8 courts, blacklight pickleball, social spaces, and retail. The January 2025 grand opening drew wide community attention and positioned CCAC as a regional leader in racquet sports innovation.He also strengthened community partnerships with USTA Texas, CCISD schools, and local organizations, advancing the mission of putting “a racquet in every hand.”
